Strategies

Seven strategies, each managed on its own terms.

We deploy proprietary family capital across seven distinct strategies, each with its own risk budget and its own measure of success. Because we invest our own capital, we act as a patient, long-term owner and partner.

01

Private companies

Direct investments in operating businesses, typically with $1–10 million of EBITDA, as a long-term owner or a meaningful minority partner.

  • Consumer services, transportation and logistics, light manufacturing, technology-enabled services
  • Recapitalizations, founder succession, carve-outs and special situations
02

Real estate

Income-producing property and development, with an emphasis on self-storage, multifamily and essential retail. We invest as principal, as a joint-venture partner alongside experienced sponsors, and through tax-efficient structures including 1031 exchanges.

  • Value-add, development and select distressed opportunities
  • Southeast, Texas and Puerto Rico
03

Pre-IPO and late-stage private

Secondary and primary positions in private companies approaching a public listing or liquidity event, sourced through the firm's network rather than open marketplaces.

04

Public micro-caps

Concentrated positions in small public companies underwritten from the ground up, drawing on the firm's own operating history in the micro-cap market.

05

Public international

Listed equities outside the United States where valuation, currency or local market structure creates opportunities a U.S.-only portfolio would miss.

06

Options and derivatives

A systematic options program run on the firm's own platform, designed to generate income and manage the risk of the broader public portfolio.

07

Liquidity management

Short-duration, low-risk strategies that keep committed capital productive and allow the firm to move quickly when the right opportunity appears.

Areas of conviction

Where we are building positions.

Within these strategies, we are actively building positions in several areas of particular conviction.

  • AI-driven logistics
  • Puerto Rico real estate
  • U.S. real estate
  • Medical leasing
  • Private aviation
  • Yacht chartering

Investment criteria

What makes a fit.

We look for opportunities where patient capital and operating experience make the difference.

  • Basis over story. A sensible cost basis, current yield that supports the plan, and a business plan that works if the market does not help.
  • A sponsor or management team with a real record, in sectors we understand from having built and run them.
  • Structures that align interests, with transparent fees, real reporting and appropriate governance rights for the capital we commit.
  • Situations where speed and certainty matter, such as recapitalizations, succession and complex closings.

What we don't do

  • Raise or manage capital for third parties, or accept outside investors
  • Pre-revenue consumer applications
  • Brokered opportunities without direct contact with the sponsor or company
  • Blind-pool commitments where we cannot underwrite the underlying assets

How we engage

  1. Submit. Send the opportunity through our structured form with your teaser or offering materials.
  2. Initial response. We aim to respond within five business days to submissions that fit our criteria.
  3. Introductory call. We sign a reasonable NDA after an initial conversation, not before.
  4. Diligence and decision. We target a term sheet within two to four weeks of receiving a complete data room.
